Description

In a sincere tribute to the passion for history and architecture, this line of placemats is decorated with illustrations of the antique “riggiole”, often used by AMG in the decoration of its interiors.
The term “riggiola” dates back to 1450 when Alfonso the Magnanimous, the first king of the Aragonese dynasty, who wanted to import the ancient art of ceramics to Naples from Spain.
The Catalan term “rajola”, in fact, appears written in the Aragonese coupons to indicate this kind of tiles.
The decorative motif is made by the carved embroidery.
