These small lampshades are part of AMG’s latest green initiative.
These are handcrafted lampshades, whose lining material has been recovered from old clothes that are no longer usable.
The “AMG RECYCLES” project, in fact, involves the reuse of fabrics belonging to old clothes, to cover small decorative objects, embellished by the Italian craftsmanship together with the unique design of the Maison.
“We want to bring people closer to the concept of reuse, to the value that is given to the second life of an object, we want to raise awareness of the art of Italian labor, with these pieces, each one of a kind, so that they can tell a new story.”
Each of these items is therefore a unique piece.
Fan-shaped lampshades, covered in regenerated crepe. The frame contains a crepe lining.
Between the lining and the upholstery there is an air chamber, which allows the light to pass smoothly, giving greater prominence to the design of the fabric which therefore does not disappear when the light is on. Expedient symbol of great craftsmanship.
